The original requests from Bishops and Priests that brought the Presentation Sisters to the United States were for the staffing of parochial schools. Today, seventy-four sisters are serving in seventeen communities in six states stretching across the southern half of the United States. Through education and empowerment we endeavor to bring relief to the exploited. We collaborate with others in witnessing the gospel challenge to make visible the values of human dignity, freedom, and justice among all peoples, especially the powerless and those made poor.
Our sisters serve in a variety of of ministries including:
Teaching and Administration in Elementary Schools | Teaching College Level Theology | Parish Ministries | Vocation Recruitment and Promotion | Social Work | Medical/Nuring | Spiritual Direction and Retreat Ministry | Visitation to the Elderly, Homebound, Hospitalized and Imprisoned | Collaborative Ministry with other Presentation groups in the United States | Direct Ministry with those made Poor | Pastoral Administration | Health Ministry
