Immaculee Ilibagiza was born in Rwanda and is a Rwandan genocide survivor. She lost most of her family during the 1994 genocide. She conducted two sessions at St. Anthony’s Church in Fargo, N.D., for parishioners. She witnessed through her experience the life-saving power of faith and the rosary as she huddled with seven other women in a cramped bathroom for 91 days while killers lurked outside the door.
She has written several books, including Left to Tell and Led By Faith.
