Friends of Nano is an International Lay Movement of women and men who share a common vision with the Presentation Congregation.
Founded by Nano Nagle in 1775, we collaborate in finding creative ways to further a common vision, mission and charism.

Join us in our Book Study on Raphael Consedine’s “Fire on the Earth.”
We seek opportunities to pray, act and celebrate together, welcoming people of various cultures and faith traditions who are inspired by the spirit of Nano to work towards creating a more just and sustainable world. The spirit and charism of Nano and the Presentation Congregation inspire us to go one step beyond. We support and encourage one another to deepen our awareness of the Divine life within and live the Gospel in our daily lives. Together, we commit to enhance the quality of life for all people, especially those marginalized and kept poor.

In union with the Presentation Congregation worldwide, we carry this mission in the context of family life or as single men and women, following the example of Nano Nagle through our prayer life, service to the poor and commitment to justice in our local communities, and our stewardship of creation by supporting sustainable development principles.
