As Presentation Sisters, we celebrate Catholic Sisters Week by honoring the gift of religious life and giving thanks for 250 years of mission since our founding by Nano Nagle. Inspired by the Gospel and the call of Jesus Christ, we celebrate our legacy of faith, service, and education. We invite others to learn about our mission and consider joining us in answering the Gospel call to serve.

Discern with us!
While most people think a vocation is what they are called to do in life, it is important to understand that the most important call from God is the universal call to holiness. If you think you may be called to vowed religious life, we invite you to engage us in conversation and discernment!

The process of becoming a sister starts with discerning a vocation as a Presentation Sister. This can be broken down into four steps…
Contact any Presentation Sister to inform them of your interest.
Our Vocation Director will contact you. You’ll be invited to visit with the sisters to learn more.
If our director feels you are a good fit a formal interview will be arranged.
Follow-up discernment sessions are planned and you will be connected with a sister to help in this process.
If the Presentation way of life appears to be suited to you, you will be invited to begin the Pre-Candidacy program.
This phase ordinarily lasts six months to a year and you will continue to be accompanied by a sister and meet regularly. You will be invited to local communities to experience our way of life in prayer, community and ministry. It is a phase that is more focused with the aim of helping you to grow in your sense of God, your desire to follow Jesus and to begin to come to know who we are as Presentation sisters.
